Essex Police confirm Pitsea man has died following collision with a car.
A man has died after being hit by a car near a pet shop in Essex.
Officers were called to a car park in Pitsea High Road shortly before 2pm on Sunday following reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian.
The man in his 90s, died at the scene - anyone with dashcam footage is asked to contact 101.
